Direct Cremations or unattended cremations, are gaining in popularity and often, your loved one has planned it hoping not to be a burden to you.
Some Next of Kin however still want an opportunity to say goodbye and I can conduct a service that fits with what you feel comfortable with. This can be called a memorial service, celebration of life, or ash scattering ceremony. It can be called anything you feel appropriate.
Some Next of Kin choose to follow a standard structure similar to a traditional funeral service (see structure page). Others wish for something bespoke. And we can hold them almost anywhere! Most people organise them somewhere meaningful, like a favourite park, pub, hotel, local village hall, or at home.
